Venus and Jupiter
So I saw Todds and thought it was great!! I thought I would share my version of last nights event.
I got to shooting just after the color started to fade so the clouds arent nearly as brilliant as his...
Thoughts welcome

I was kind of disappointed by the high, thin clouds when I was shooting mine, but the results are quite nice. I like that you got that ethereal glow around the moon, too. Could use some terrestrial context, but not required.

Interesting how the same subject can be shot so very differently!

Hard to say which I like better - they have totally different moods and feels. This one is very dramatic with the high swirling clouds, while Todd's is maybe prettier in the traditional sense. I like 'em both a whole lot!

Great shot Nate!! I can appreciate this view as this is about what I saw when I left work that night.

Boy, that pretty well captures it! Very nice. The clouds are what makes this one hold its own for me, without any earthly foreground.
