Crosscountry ski tracks on the frozen river
Here is a little image from winter past for all you folks in upper midwest in honor of it now being December (and it is still warm and fall here in Texas )

I was out in the marshes along the Mississippi River near LaCrosse, Wisconsin when I came across these ski tracks at sunset. Then I noticed what appeared to be paw prints there too. I thought it made a great winter image.

Enjoy the winter!

The ski tracks do make for interesting lines. A fitting image since we've been getting hit with snow lately...

Nice, looks like the skier will be getting a chance again soon.

Nice eye. Looks like tough skiing to me.

X-country ski tracks certainly...but I like to think of them as the footprints of a very, very large bird. :)
