Caracara
Hello :wavey:

Been away from an internet connection for a while. This is one from our stay in central Florida.
Caracara's are fantastic birds normally seen in pairs and spend a lot of time on the ground.
I found two on fence posts along the road and every time I got close in the car they would circle round to posts behind the car, I think they had more fun than me. :jump:

Miles better than any caracara picture I have ever taken, but the whites on the rump and side of the head look a little blown on my monitor, perhaps a slight reduction in brightness and contrast would help?

A little blown but still a fantastic image Colin!

Hello Colin.

Nice flight shot and good detail.

The whites are just border line on my monitor its probably down to the compressed image.

The only thing I would change is the dark area on the left top side of the image. I feel it is to dark and keeps pulling my eye.

Excellent shot - I agree about dimming the whites a little if possible.

A nice flight shot, much more interesting than the shots I got of them sitting in the shade on that tree branch - I'm heading back there today though so fingers crossed...

Not a bird I've heard of but nicely caught Colin. Agree with comments about the whites

Thanks for the comments, I really must stop processing images using battery power the macbook pros calibrated but only with the power cord attached when you use battery power the screen is dimmed and you get your whites blown out. :jump:

Thanks again.
