I thought I'd share this little beauty. I got lucky the other day, when the light was just right, and had a chance to finally get a shot of this wonderful scene. This is touched up a bit in photoshop, naturally. I really like the way this came out, but I know I can improve. I'd love to hear your comments!

focal length: 30mm
f-number: f/29
exposure time: 1/50
ISO: 400

note: this is posted on flikr.com, so here's the link in case the below won't work.

Good shot. This should be nice with some snow. I wonder why so close to the pond?

You're right. It is a little beauty. Beautiful barn! I might scoot over to the right some that way when someone buys it and wants to matt and frame it there is room. Maybe a little closer to the barn, less water. Very pretty!

Nice assortment of colors. I'd like to see a bit more room for the barn on the right.

Nate....I like the idea and the pond, but would like to see a few changes. Try cropping the bottom up to the clumps of grass that are in the water, and a crop from the left to eliminate the other clump of grass and see what you think. I would also take the brightness down a notch on the barn and the grass that surrounds it.

Nice colors on a beautiful day. Would also like to see a shot with more room on the right.
