Here's a common Blue I got in Major's territory in the summer.
Got an email from Vince and I explained my absence is just that I'm exploring other types of photography, after five years it's good to have a break, I'm learning lots of new techniques.
I do a bit of lurking here and see you lot are still knocking out fantastic work, so get the itch to remove the dust from my 800mm every now and then, but at the moment got a 24-70mm stuck on my D3, oh well sure I'll be back sometime.

Can't say I blame you over the 24-70 - I was playing with a friends on his D3 yesterday and I must admit the thought of doing a runner did cross my mind :eek: :eek: :jump:

Hi Tim,

Good to have a break every now and then and do something different, good to know your still pointing a lens at something. A very nice image of a Common Blue.

Does your new venture bring a whole new meaning to a "pair of Great Tits"? :biggrin:
