short eared owl
Got this image way back in september there are about 10+ short eared owls on this site due to young tree plantations. Me and Ian mason have been up a few times and have seen some spectacular displays.

Wowser! You didn't show me this one before - it's stunning! I like the foreground grasses and the way the road frames the bird and puts it in an environmental context. You could maybe crop a little from the right and you could possibly do a little more selective sharpening to the bird. One to be proud of!

Lovely shot, and as Ian said, the road in the background frames the bird nicely.

Hi Cameron,

Welcome to the forum :wavey:

The composition of the image is great. The overall image does need a bit more work to lift it.

But 10 SEO, excellent!! That's a very menacing stare it has too.

Regards

Rob

A species I have yet to see, let alone photograph. Nice capture although I agree Rob in that a little more could be done to get the SEO to show more.

Thanks

Graham
