Im very new to photography and have only took around 300 pictures. I have a Nikon D80 with a 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 Lens which I bought about a month and a half ago.
Im taking all the pics in Manual mode trying to learn how to use/Handle the camera correctly.
I dont have a photo editing program nor do I know how to use one but I uploaded this photo to photobucket and edited it untill i liked what I saw and just wanted to share. Im pretty proud of this picture since I am so New to this, Im sure it has Issues im not trying to say its perfect or even near good.

I like it Paul. Nice use of selective color on the little building. I'll take a guess that the car is either e Subaru or a Mitsubishi.
In general, there aren't a lot of vehicle shots here unless they are heavy on additional nature content.
I know this is a Nature forum sorry I posted what I did I hope you dont mind too much. And Yes its a Subaru. I am going to go out and take some nature pics just havent had the time to do so yet.

Paul,
Post what you like as there are frequently photos here that have really nothing to do with nature (abstracts of man made structures are a good example).
A unique shot. Of course, being an '03 WRX owner, I have to give a kudos for a nice STi
One thing I would like to offer is to look at the New York Institute of Photography website for their photo of the month. How they critique images I find useful for myself. Maybe you will to.
If you are up in Seattle and want some other spots to shoot your car, let me know!
Thanks Alot!! I love the car and the community even more!
I will keep that in mind and I might have to askyou sometime for the locations of those spots.

As you throw up more shots, add the camera details like f-stop, shutter speed, etc. too. That's a great way to allow others to make detailed comments on your photos. And yeah, take that car out and toss it into an epic nature scene .

So Paul, take that car, set it up so you get some cool reflection of some natural scene is some cool part of the car and work off how one relates to the other or how they don't relate.
I don't know, you like the car so use it and work it!
