Just incase ther may be implictions for anyone here I see that a large photogrpic outlet has closed its doors for what ever reason. Havnt mentioned names for obviuos reasons.

If you mean the one in Stevenage, last I heard was it will re-open soon under a management buy-out

If you don't mention names nobody would know if there are implications for them would they

I'm assuming it's that well known firm of ex-shotgun manufacturers

Gosh I can't keep up, indeed another Norf' London supplier bites the dust, I'm running out of Oly eqt suppliers at this rate!

Hong Kong Ebay has a lot to answer for........

Can someone tell me why it is "forbidden" to name the company that has closed its doors? Like Barrie says it might have implications for those who might have bought/ordered from this company

Hi Rene

I'm assuming Major is referring to A J Purdy unless another one has gone to the wall in the last day or so.

The demise of Purdy was confirmed a few days ago but had been speculated upon for some little while as they were not taking new orders and all back orders had been cancelled

Barrie

Given that it is on their website here http://www.ajpurdy.co.uk I see as public information. A great pity

Rene I didnt name names as I didnt want any back lash from it if I was wrong to do so.
I was unsure but its out in the open now anyway.
