We decided that since we always seem to have so little time together to start it earlier. So the party is going to begin at 4PM this year.

I'm very happy to have the chance to meet some of you! I work on Saturdays, so I will probably be late, but I will try to come with snacks and maybe a couple of bottles of wine.

I'm bummed; looks like I will miss this again. I am off to the NAMM show in CA that weekend (those of you who are musicians will know what that is) "drumming up" business. Hope y'all have a great time, in fact I'm sure you will!

Hi Kurt

If you wish to participate in the White Elephant, just bring a print of any of your photographs.

Last year people brought images that were 8x10 or larger. (Some were a lot larger!). You can mount and mat, or leave as loose print – your choice.

Please make sure it is wrapped, rolled, or covered in a way that you cannot see the image until is opened.

My computer is acting a little goofy so I better reply while I still can. I'll be there barring a blizzard. Will bring some shrimp. Probably have two other folks coming as well, but they are still unsure. They will contribute $ to food.

Yes you can easily park in their parking lot. But advice to all, don't keep valuables in your cars since we did have a problem several years ago with theft.

I broke the event page today trying to put up the attendees for the event on Saturday. Rene where are you? The event specifics are listed above and everything is all a go for Saturday starting at 4PM at Qube. Looking forward to seeing everybody.

I have to back out, unfortunately. It's going to be odd not being there... We're definitely going to have to have a group outing this year.

I've been a "lurker" on the forum but I plan on attending the event.

I will be bringing a print, chocolate cookies and maybe some home brewed beer ... unless I have a bad day at work between now and then and drink it all on my own

Just wanted to drop a note to say how much I enjoyed the shindig. It was fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

Tonight’s Shindig was great,
It was nice finally putting faces to names of all the great photos I’ve seen on this site.
And to see some of the photos in actual print form was truly wonderful.
Thanks to everyone who organized this event. I look forward to next year’s shindig.
