Buzzard
This is a wild bird coming in to bait. It is always a dilemma deciding whether or when to take your first flight shot of the bird coming in . If it spooks the bird ,it can be weeks of work wasted. This one was ok although, after that I kept to perchers mainly. Site baited almost daily for 5 years by that great mentor of mine Roy Blewitt. One of the "old school"
This is a about a quarter of the frame. Manual focus
800ISO 100-300mm.Sigma.
300th sec f8

John, i think the punch line here is "baited almost daily for 5 years" it just shows how much work goes into getting a shot like this, thank you for the insight.
A wow-shot.
The body between the legs and the head seams a little more pale then the rest. Maybe it's may monitor but the head and the legs looks sharp to me but the same area (between legs and head) seems less sharp. Is it me or ???
But a nice picture anyway, offcourse.

Thanks both.
Tom - maybe its the feet coming forward to land like they do. Probably got the levels wrong too.

Another cracker John. I particularly like the splayed primaries.

This is brill John, the light on the underwing, the motion-blur and typical buzzard splayed wingtips and the sharpness of the head make it am absolute cracker. And the story itself tells us a lot about approaching this sort of subject

Excellent! I can't get near these, although I see plenty of them.

Great shot and just wish I could get a good shot of a buzzard.
