Finch in the green.

Not a species i've gotmany pictures of, but alot seem to be visiting the feeders at the moment.

Have plenty more images to post!

Like the cheeky tilt of the head and great feather detail but only nit is the clipped tail

Paul,

Nice image, with good clear background.

I keep getting drawn to the out of focus tail though.

Beautifully exposed and sharp. Must echo the nit about the clipped tail.
Still a nice shot

Paul,

Now that is a nice shot, simple pose, good eye contact, sharp image and good bg - well done! :toast: Cliff

These are gorgeous birds but I find hard to pin down - well done! I wonder if it might be a little oversharpened?

Nice capture. The clipped tail's easily fixed in photoshop but if it was my image I'd leave as is - it really doesn't detract that much.

Hi Paul,

Great capture of an aggressive bird! Love these birds nonetheless but often find them difficult to capture!

Nice study. I suppose the clipped tail is a flaw, but it doesn't really detract from the shot all that much.

Very nice picture, but I also echo the nit about the clipped tail
