Hi all
Spent the morning at my local seal colony (rookery?) and fired a few thousand pixels at this entertaining chap. Great fun, but boy was it cold - lying on frozen sand is not fun! Had to call it a day after two hours when I lost all feeling in my feet and started involentary convulsing! This fella however just happily snoozed away - I think he's designed better than me!
PS I was the only photographer on the beach. Happy days

Hi Simon,
It's a lovely well composed shot, showing a very sweet looking animal, doing something sweet.
Probably is a good idea to come home when you start showing signs of hypothermia, if you were on your own, lucky it didn't get more serious
Regards
Rob

Was certainly great light your way at the weekend - and you and he have made the most of it.

Isnt it just great when you have the place to your self. The cold most certainly kept people away. Salthouse in the afternoon was just the same. What a relief.
It obvoiusly gave you great time to compose and photograph a very cuty looking animal.
Nice one.
