Dipper
Hi friends,
took this a few weeks ago. Just crawled under the bag hide, plugged in
the cable, looked through the net, wow, she was there already. Lucky, lucky. Managed to take four shots and she was gone.
Canon 20D; 5,6/600, f8, 1/800, ISO 400
C and C always welcome,
thanks for looking,
Bertl

Great lighting and pose Bertl. I think I would be tempted to darken the patch of 'pooh' a bit - its just bright enough to irritate slightly. :toast:

Great dark bellied dipper, I'd only seen standard/chestnut dippers in your region of Austria before, perhaps a winter visitor from further north?

Really nice work Bertl, I love the subject and the light has worked really nicely in your favour. I agree with the droppings nit but it doesn't detract too much and since they will often perch on the same stones it just tells the rest of a NH story.
