Sanderling Running
One from the weekend, fast little buggers sanderling are so it was difficult to keep up with them. Spent all day trying to get this shot.

Canon 1Ds MK11, 500mm lens, F4, 1/2000, ISO 200

Love it. Large dose of envy. What's your set up for this kind of shot tripod or some sort of lo-pod?

Regards

Jon

Wow, so it is possible to walk on water after all

Thought the same as Nick, really looks like he's running on the surface and the drops off the back foot give it a great feeling of motion. Really nice shot

Excellent stuff - especially the drops behind the rear foot which really make it for me

Hi Danny,

This is very nice, with superb panning skill and great timing! Love the water splash on the rear foot. Not sure if it is down to posting size but white's look a little hot on the flank.

Nice work

One of my favourite birds and this sums up its zippy character. Very nice indeed.

Hello Jon just on the tripod using the wimberly head, I am low down though which makes it a bit harder.

Rob thats what I have to put up with now I have to compress a 50mb file

Super capture Danny - have something similar myself, taken at Titchwell, but not quite the mid-air shot you have here.

Thanks - Graham.
