There's something comical to my eye about partridge and this pose just adds to it. Taken from the car. I was tracking it when it just jumped. The frames either side are back on the ground so machine gun frame rates paid dividends.
It was good to have a day off when the light was good and I hope it holds good for the week.

Nice shot in good light. The title is perfect and the angle of view really emphasises the small wings compared to the plump body!

You're not wrong Tom. Compared it against the original image in photoshop and that's got no green cast and is warmer. Beyond me to explain why. If anyone can point me to a reason I'd be obliged.

A nice commercial image, my only observation may be a slight green cast (worth checking)
