Hi Folks,

I really need to get out of the office..! The day here is really quite nice but work demands that I stay put..

So I am left to share this European Tree Frog with you.. They are such great little subjects and I can't wait to go back and do some more stuff with them. I tried to flip this one on its horizontal but not sure which way works best..?

Have a good day..

Brett.

Nice one Brett (liked this first time I saw it....) just a thought, perhaps flip it so that the frog faces the other direction?

Hate to admit it but I agree with Phil, for some reason I prefer to see things looking left to right (because we read that way??) Needless to say its still up to your very high standards.

I have always liked this one, Brett. Who knows, maybe next year...

I share your frustrations about being stuck inside on this beautiful day as well. :frown:

It’s always worth flipping an image, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, it’s a personal thing, and yes, it is a lot to do with the way we read, as our eyes tend to “travel” more naturally across a page, from left to right, anyway you’re the only one who knows the truth.

A very nice capture, well seen and taken.

Nice shot indeed: certainly a species I'd like to spend some more time photographing too.

On the L to R thing I have a view that if you want to create some subconscious tension/controversy etc then r to l works best, if you want a natural pleasing/soothing image then l to r does. Maybe poppycock but it seems logical based on the reading theory.
