I had originally posted this late December, 2007, and was never happy with the results. The capture was a total rush job; I got up late and had to sprint in heavy snow boots then slide down the rip rap along the riverbank while the color in the sky was increasing. Then the sky turned from magenta to deep red while I frantically set up my stuff in the snow and ice along the Wenatchee River. I could have used another exposure for the hills, but you use what you have. a Anyway, after reworking the exposures numerous times, I think I'm fairly happy with it now and it represents how I remember that amazing event.
Because the sunrise was so special I just can't let this one go. What do you guys/gals think of my processing?
Sony R1, 1/8 sec @ f/14 and .8 sec @ f/14 processed twice.

Great shot, I really like it. The one thing I noticed about the processing is the color seems slightly off behind the trees in the upper right side of the frame. Other than that I think its an incredible shot and you did a great job processing it.
