It seems like an age ive been trying to track down Brown Hares, but this weekend i eventually found some within lens range, ok not on the best of terrain but caught it as it was going up a farm track

Well Andy - I am surprised this hasn't got much attention to be honest. I like it. Its certainly far better than anything I have ! Its in the right place in the frame and stopped in its tracks.
Looks OK to me.

Nice shot Andy - works well for me too. Nice sharpness, position and colour.

Good clean shot Andy. Better than any I've managed to date.

Nice shot Andy. Probably not the sort of surface the Hare feels totally at home on but it shows him/her off very well.

Good shot - nicely framed and the hare stands out well. My first hare shots were also on a farm track - its a natural part of their habitat so perfectly acceptable..
I bet now that you've photographed one you'll be tripping over them from now on!!! That's how it works with me, anyway!

You are still one hare ahead of me, Andy. If my first hare shots are half as good as this one I will be pleased.

Andy,
I'd be very happy with that as my first Hare shot - as it is still waiting..... Cliff
