Another exposure blending display of force, this shot is two images, one for the sky and background hills, the other for the chair and foreground. Try that with your flimsy plastic straight line grad nonsense, pah!
The chair is 8m high, I kid you not. I couldnt run into the shot and look relaxed to give it a sense of scale unfortunately, despite many attempts!
Canon 1DsIII, Contax 35-70 @ 35mm f11 for 1/125th and 1/30th
*** FIREFOX USERS - Please do me a favour and get back to me, compare the sharpness of this image with the same image posted over on Photo.net using this browser. Open them up in the same browser on two seperate pages and toggle between the two. I am firmly convinced that the Photo.net image is interpolated by the site / browser or doing something weird as it looks distinctly soft. Look at areas like the distant tor and the horizon line and the grass in between the legs. This doesnt happen in IE8 or Opera, just Firefox 3.0.4 here on my machine at home. Is yours the same?
Many thanks***

I'm using Firefox 3.0.4 and have just toggled between the images and can't see any difference David, they look identical to me.
The shot is perfectly executed, the exposure and quality of light are stunning.

I pressed CTRL 0 and it reset the browsers zoom function, all was restored, forget I said a thing!
