I've been experimenting with my early Christmas gift, a Sigma 10-20. It sure is nice to be wide again. Thanks for looking.

Sweet shot Jason - that sky is incredible. It might be my monitor, but the image seems a little dark overall.

Thanks Wade. Yeah, I chose to use one of the darker exposures, because I really like the dramatic effect with the silouetted bridge and sun star. You can see a few different shots, including some with lighter skies on my website, under the Bay Bridge section.

Jason,

I, too, really like your shot. I well understand your wish for drama, but if you brightened and saturated those pinks in the sky a bit, I think you would find that you gained more drama. Try it, If you don't like it, you always have what you initially created.

Take care,

Thanks Margo, I think you're right and i'm going to play with it and post the results. Having access to the critical eyes of such accomplished pros really is priceless.

Here is a link to a new version, which is lighter and a bit more saturated. Also, the crop is a little different. I do like it better than the first.

The new version is very good and I liked the original also. I like the contrast in both of them.

I really like it, too, Jason, and prefer the lighter version.
