Nice capture, Mike I like the pose of the Buck and the inclusion of the surrounding trees.

Mike, this is a real nice capture. I personally am liking more and more the fauna / avian photos that show the animal in their natural surroundings. I'd clone out or crop the evergreen branches in the LRC. :toast:

Mike, I agree with the others about the wonderful pose in the natural environment. I also agree that it could use a bit more of a crop to get the most out of it. Nice capture of a beautiful animal.

Well done. You had to look hard to find him among all the fall foliage. Nice.

Yup, very nice. I'd crop off the FG OOF branch, as others have suggested, but this is a very nice "in habitat" shot.

I like the setting on this shot.

Thank you all very much for the feedback! I agree with the cropping out the branches on the right. I hoped when capturing the image it would give a feeling of being in the woods hiding to capture the image. You're probably right, it’s just a distraction.

Thanks much!

Excellent backdrop and use of the deer in this image. I also agree that the OOF pine branches on the right need to go.
