Scary how a camera released in 2003 is now vintage!

It got attention. When I bought my 5D a few years ago, I couldn't sell the 10D for more than $450. There is one on CL for $400, but I bet it won't sell. I'm happy to have made a deal, the camera, battery grip, Lbracket, and batteries are going for asking price.
Yeah, it's sad, but I don't need the paper weight and the buyer wants it for his daughter. Perfect!

If this hasn't sold yet, have you thought about donating it to a highschool or college? I know a lot of shcools around here are asking for hand-me-down digitals for their yearbook, and art classes. I gave away a few old cameras to my old highschool, and they were happy as clams.

Aaron has a good point. I used to be a mentor/volunteer/board member of an orgranization called "Youth in Focus" (youthinfocus.org) which introduces photography to at-risk urban teens to give them a creative outlet. Such donations are GREATLY appreciated
