Hello sorry I haven't been able to post and comment much lately. The Holiday season is my busiest time of year. I still haven't finished all of my fall images yet but wanted to share one from the fall gathering.
By the way most of you know I shoot alot of panos, I finally found a digital sensor that I would love to have. It's only 216 mp!! I may have to sell my home to buy it though. Anyway check it out, it won't be available until 2010. It's the epic 617, 186x56mm in size. An IMAX competitor in video also. The modular system is a very cool idea also, similar to medium format but with more components.

Sweet shot, Gale, you just need to bite the bullet and buy that big sensor, then you would not have to stitch you shots together!

Always a treat to see images of Richland Creek...nice work Gale. Great job showing detail in the shadows, and beautiful color and composition.
That Red system looks pretty awesome, but a little pricey for a poor teacher like me...

Wonderful image Gail. I really like it. Your doing really great pano work.
I vote for you to buy the Epic 617. See that wasn't so hard for me to say.

Hey Gale, I really like this shot, especially the direction of the light working around the bend in Richland Creek. Sorry to hear you're so busy but it's good to finally see some of your efforts from that special weekend (at least it was special for me)!

Thanks everyone for all the nive comments,I wasn't kidding about the fact that I would have to sell my home purchase such a high ticket item. I don't have that kind of money. I just thought it was amazing that the technology to produce a sensor that size is going to be produced, actually who really knows if it will be produced. I do love the thought of a panorama sensor I wouldn't have to stitch like Tom pointed out. Anyway if it is made it will open up the competition at the high end. Then the technology will trickle down to something a guy might could afford in few years.

Terrific image Gale. Nice backlit foliage in an excellent composition. The ripples are a nice extra.

Gale,
I really like this image and enjoy your eye for panoramics. The color and composition are both really excellent.

Terrific shot, Gale. The mirror pools really add to the effectiveness of the shot.
