30 pounds lighter and weak as a newborn kitten, I think I am 100% HEALED. My doctor was shocked, but very happy for me.
I'm on my fifth straight pain-free day, I have no more tingling in my hand and my spirits are soaring way up there. I've taken myself off the pain meds, my appetite is back and I'm as giddy as a school-girl.
I even walked Wakodahatchee one time yesterday. It completely exhausted me and I had to lie down on a bench for a minute, but I did it.
My goal now is to regain the weight, and I'm putting myself on an aggressive physical training program including jogging (on the beach - low impact) and weight training. I don't know if this is another 'lull' or if I am truly healed but I've committed myself to being as strong and healthy as I possibly can be from now until my last day.
Next is a job, in February I'll get my all-time favorite lens (500 f/4.5) and I'll be back in the field and stronger than ever by spring.
Thanks to everyone here I also have zero medical bills and ZERO DEBT. I nearly cry every time I think of the kindness shown to me by friends and complete strangers. I'd be in a real bad place financially right now if not for you :-)

WOO HOO!!!!! This news makes me smile, Gloria. You're still in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope you're able to start making new images soon. Your positive attitude truly is inspirational!
