Two images here, taken in completely different light. First one was taken close to sunset with mainly clear skies. Second was taken the next morning with filtered sunlight and thin overcast skies. Quite different scenes and mood.
I think I actually prefer the 2nd image with the diffused light, the first one I was struggling with the fg shadow, even though I did selectively lighten it some!. Which works best do you think?.

Theyre both nice, but i slightly prefer the second--it has better curves and greater depth with the vertical format.

I also prefer #2. The large foreground shadow in #1 is distracting. Otherwise, the color and contrast in #1 is very nice.

As Bill mentioned, the foreground shadow in the first is distracting, but otherwise it's real nice. #2 is my fav though. What a cool place.

I like the soft light in #2. It allows the colors to be seen more clearly and shows off the variety.
I really like both of these Nick. Very easy to look at. No harsh contrast ranges. Interesting to the eye with a nice draw through both of them. Great stuff.
