Reelfoot Lake one more time
This is the final image I've processed from that perfect morning on the lake

I'm recovering from a bout with pneumonia (yep Harold that's what it was) so I've had time to dig through and process some files

5D,17-40@17mm, 20sec., ISO 50, F22, Tripod, no filters

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or comments!!

Sorry to hear about the pneumonia. Another great shot from that morning. I love the composition - for me, the only minor thing i see is the horizon where the sun is rising seems a little bright. I wonder if that could be toned down at all. either way, its a great shot.

Super composition. I don't think I'd like it as much if the bright spot was closer to the reflection color. I'd guess that you are using it to balance the attention so the two trees don't over power the composition.
Sorry to hear you've been sick. Take care of yourself. I hope you get better soon.

I wouldn't change a thing about this photo. I even like the way the tops of the cypress trees are chopped off. I think it draws your eye right to those buttress bases. Wonderful!

I love the simplicity of this scene. The blues in the sky look a little over-saturated to me, but that's a matter of personal taste. Hope you're well down the road to recovery.

I know we haven't met in person yet, but I'm really starting to dislike you.

Beautiful shot, Thomas. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Hello Sir Thomas,

I'm glad to here you finally went to the doc. You are too old to be playing around in the cold with the type of congestion you had when we last spoke. Glad to here you are coming out of the fog. Oh yeah, another classic TB thanks for sharing my friend. I'll give you a call when the big snow heads this way.

Take care my friend,

H
