I don't toot my own horn to often, but I wanted to share some exciting news. I have been selected to be an Artist-in-Residence on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park!
Only three artists per year have the honor of being the Artist-in-Residence on the South Rim, and this is only the second year for the program. The North Rim of the Grand Canyon has a similar program that takes place during the summer. I have more information on my blog and also on my website about what it will mean to be the Artist-in-Residence. I will be providing regular updates on my blog during my stay at the Grand Canyon, sharing new images and experiences.
This has been an exciting year. First winning New Mexico Magazine’s photography contest, then receiving The Luminous Landscape Endowment, and now to be selected as Artist-in-Residence at the Grand Canyon. I am truly humbled to have my work recognized and to have been selected for this opportunity.
I owe a huge thanks to everyone here at NPN for your mentorship and support over the years. I have learned so much from you all and feel that a big part of my success is due to the people of NPN.
