Feeling inspired after finding a copy of Joe Cornish’s “Light and the Art of Landscape Photography”, I thought I’d venture down to Laguna Beach to take advantage of the low tide and the approaching storm.

Very nice, Eric. I like the drama in the sky a lot, as well as the wonderful color too. I think the use of the FG rock formation to lead our eyes along it toward the BG rock stack is well placed also. At this size it appears the detail in the FG rocks is just right allowing us to see it well although it is all dark material in very low light.

Very nice Eric, I like the bands of highlights and shadows across the fg anchor. It's a keeper.

Beautiful, Eric! This is a lovely sunset, and I like the repeating diagonal lines in the foreground rocks. This is a good near to far composition.

That is some sweet light Eric! I really like the foreground leading line out toward that notch in the mid-ground rocks...for some reason the word 'slingshot' comes to mind

I swear one of these days we will stumble right into each other at Crescent Bay Eric LOL. Great capture :)
