The Forest Primeval
Another of my forest shots around Mowich lake. I liked the way the light gave the moss an almost florescent look.
Comments welcome, Joe

Very nice overall. Limited focusing range kind of work here.... I'm not sold 100% but the lighting and strong composition makes it a winner, without a doubt.

Joseph, you've got me on board with this one - I love it. As others mentioned, the lighting is superb. The only thing I might mention is that on my work LCD display the tree bark looks like it could be a little oversharpened.

Overall, I really like this and the mood it conveys. I do feel that the strong, somewhat heavy appearance of the forest floor is visually at odds with the soft lighting of the rest of the image.

Thanks all for commenting. Here's a version with a tad less sharpening and some of the forest floor cropped from the bottom.
