This has been an ongoing tale in the UK for some time now, but just in case some of you don't yet know, you may be arrested taking photos of wildlife on buildings.

Her's a link, with comments from the BJP within this article:

A huge amount of hype and misinformation.

With very few exceptions, you cannot be prevented from taking photographs at any time and in any place except when you are standing on private land.

A few people have been hassled by PCSOs etc but the law and police rules are very clear. Unfortunately, it's the usual situation of band wagon jumping and sensationalism by one or two people (often with other agendas) who would have us believe that every photographer is being challenged or arrested when they try to take photos. It simply isn't the case (thankfully)

A tenious link to wildlife and nature  and more to do with photojournalism. Interesting but thread locked. The following are the links on the BJP site rather that 'conspiracy site' David provides.
