I'm planning on a little trip to take advantage of this rare opportunity of snow in the portland area this weekend. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of where to shoot nature shots in the snow near Portland. Thanks.

My vote would be the gorge and the waterfalls (though I'd probably shoot Multnomah early during the week to avoid any people on the bridge).

There's also a mill on the Washington side of the river that I have heard about and seen pictures of, but I don't have specifics. Maybe someone here can provide more details. If I wasn't flying out this weekend, I would have driven down to join you.

That's it! Thanks Scott

I guess it is a little farther from the Columbia River than I thought.
