This is different !
It is crying out for a bit of gamma lift but then that will destroy the "feel" of it.
Maybe some cropped off the top. to create a long pan which the bird shape is asking for.
I like this.

Gorgeous! I agree with cropping a little from the top.

Hi Marek,
Lovely posture on the Egret. Composition is OK with me, does look a little dark to me though.
Thanks for sharing

Does need a curves lift but it's a cracking pose and angle - well done indeed.

Nits been mentioned but what a pose to capture, was it just moving through the water or about to lift off..? Like the small amount of light just catching the bird..
Wonderful and well composed. The pose is really great.

Refreshingly different. The lighting is just perfect falling on the birds head a it does.
Don't change a thing. I'm sure it's how you wanted it to be.

could do with a little more light on the head but fantastic pose, would look great on the wall as a letterbox format.

A fine shot Marek
Agree with some previous comments regarding a slight lift in levels {personal taste}, although you were there, and no dought you will want to retain the mood of the moment!
