I'm a 22-year-old French girl and I live in Brittany, in the Forest of Broceliande (or Paimpont, it's the same). I lived in Chinon (center of France) and near Paris before.
I have practised photography for many years, animals and nature most of all.
You must wonder why I registered here In fact I want to speak and share my hobby with other people from an other country, especially if they live in England (I dream to live there, maybe one day...) and I think it's a good way to start with forums
I took this shot, called Unreal, (if I added it well, however you can see it here) on 12.12.08. It shows the Lake of Paimpont at the end of a special day. Indeed there was fog all the day, and it became really magic in the evening. It was the first time I photographed in fog, now I'm waiting it comes back Informations about it : Canon 400D | 1/100 | 5.6 | 1600 | 18 mm
I used to go on many forums but I never see one like this one (layout etc. ), I hope I didn't make mistakes with my first topic
Ok, now I stop rereading my message or I'm gonna become mad

Hello Celie
Welcome, and a nice first post. Has a great atmosphere about it and the fact that there is no horizon adds impact.
The weather over here is like that all the time by the way ! (joking)
Look forward to seeing more .
Cheers

Hi Celie,
A nice endless and mysterious shot.
This time of the year there are a lot of that evenings (and mornings) over here in the Netherlands.
May be it's time for me to try that also.

Sorry, I couldn't answer before (work, studies, Christmas...)
Thanks for your welcome and your opinion on this shot, I still waiting a new day with fog but now weather is really sunny but cold, really cold.
I can't believe it's always like this in England, Brittany has a bad reputation too but it's not true (not always... apart this year )
Frederic => Maybe, I don't really know red wine (I don't like it) Coteaux du Layon, Ladubay or Samur champigny (white) are my favourites
