Red throated divers at dawn
I think (hope) that this has a slight Scandinavian feel to it but in fact, it was taken less than a mile from home. These mornings are frustratingly rare and so is the appearance of divers in this part of Scotland.

Canon 1dII, 300mm, ISO 200.

I really like this it has great atmosphere. I tried to shoot these earlier in the year in Donegal. I wish I had a shot like this. Maybe I will have to get up earlier.
