I know its Winter (believe me, I know it -- a foot Friday and another 5 inches this morning). But my website host finally has a "links" feature (its Flash Based) and I wanted to try to post this (I tried earlier with no luck). I took this one morning in late October on the Tittabawassee River in Saginaw. It was monochromatic and I did not convert it B&W. I tossed a stone into the water to get the rings. Its still kind of "clunky." Isn't really a jpg link that I can put in here as a hot link. But the url is: http://RichardsPhoto.ifp3.com/site/#/gallery/fine-art/tittabawassee-reflection-st-andrews-road-saginaw-mi10182008015/

Nice shot. I like the Horseshoe shot as well.

Andy....I like the circles and the mono tone to match the mood of the season. Looks a bit tilted CCW..or is it me?

I like the abstract nature of this, Andy. Agree with Toni that it feels a bit tilted. Ideally, I would prefer it without the bright UL corner (it pulls my eye from the action in the center), but not sure what your shooting limitations were.

Very interesting, Andy. I think you've got several shots within this frame, but from the point of view of visual coherence, I'd suggest cropping the top--above the circular ripples. I think that retains the general semi-abstract approach and simplifies things compositionally. In any case, nicely done.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will play with it and see what I get. Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!
