Hi Andy,

Noise looks more than acceptable to me!! The bird looks a bit small on that big perch though for me!

Regards

I can hardly see any noise and certainly wouldn't have noticed had I not been specifically looking. I agree the perch is a bit dominant, but I would be happy to even see one of these.

I like the sweep of the branch and the whole thing looks OK to me except for one minor nit. A little too much moss in my opinion. A bit of branch or bark would just break it up a bit.
Good stuff though.
Cheers

Noise looks fine to my eyes Andy, and i like the typical pose!

Attractive branch, and although maybe a touch thick for some tastes, it works pretty well for me, and its always good to have some variety :toast:

This is really nice Andrew. I like the composition and the branch - is it natural or a set up? Noise doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

noise looks fine, I like this a lot. I can see why some would think the perch a bit thick, but I think it works well.

Cheers guys, thanks for the comments :toast:

Hi Greg, it's a shot from my Nuthatch site which has a variety of branches / logs set up, this particular branch had been set up for the resident GSW's but none have used i so far :frown:

Nice shot Andy, like the green perch!

I can make out some noise in the background, although you probably lost a lot of it in the downsample..

Perhaps some targeted noise reduction would improve it by totally removing the background noise.

Noise looks fine. Lovely shot, but the perch is a bit dominant for me.

Very nice composition. Thought the perch was a bit too large on first impression, but on second look, it works really well, conveying the small size of the bird. Can see the noise, but it is no more than a scanned tranny.

Hi Andy, a very nice shot and my only nit is the perch - just a bit too big for me. Wonder if cropping at at the bottom to have the mossy branh framing the two sides would reduce its volume but keep the lovely mossy colours?
