Hi everyone, I may be visiting from the UK around the end of March and I am trying to do some research on what wildlife can be found and where any good sites to visit might be.
Any advice for that time of the year would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Richard,
Be sure and visit www.travelsinbearcountry.com which is Steve Hinch's site. He usually gives the location of his shots there and in Yellowstone.

Oxbow Bend in the northern part of Tetons NP is a classic location. I've seen river otters, american pelicans, grizzly bears, great blue herons, beaver, moose. There will likely be bison and elk (wapiti) all over the park as well.

The end of March is still pretty wintery up there, I think. I wish I could help on winter locations; like Ken, I've seen a great variety of wildlife at Oxbow Bend, but I don't know its condition in winter. The Elk Refuge may still be in full swing about that time - just outside of town.

Might want to try Teton Pass with fresh spring snowstorms it is great for not only scenics but there are usually some snowboarders and skiers up there catching some of those fresh tracks.
