OK, It's not really a nature photo, but it's what I've had access to lately. The discussions on this board about mega pixels and lens quality have been pretty interesting. However, I shot this with a very old camera (Canon 20D) at ISO 800 with a 10mm EF-S lens in very trying conditions (the bridge was bouncing up and down while people walked on it). Yet I could easily make a very good 16x20 or even a decent 20x24 print from this image. I guess that when it comes down to it, it depends on how you use your equipment, not the equipment you have!

EXACTLY! What I've been preaching for years. Kind of like that old CSN&Y song from my youth - "If you can't be with the one you love, honey, love the one you're with." Especially when the one you are with can produce a beautiful print! (I'm speaking strictly about CAMERAS these days though...) Hey Tim, this DOES make a great B&W image! And what really nails it is the bright strut in the foreground....

Well said by both Tims!
The most important part of the picture happens on the back side of the viewfinder. Good subject, light, composition, and technique trump MP any time.
I have to be honest though, I am a detail junky. It's not a pretty thing but I deal with it.
Great framing and I love the clouds.

Unique photo Tim, well done.
You might find some nature if you would get further away from Commercial St.

Tim-
Nice image and nicely said. Get out and make images when and where you can. The is photography possibility everywhere-even landscapes.
BTW-I made a follow up post with a local landscape image of my own to show support :-)
Happy Holidays!

Tim, I like the lines leading to the clouds. I always enjoy your B& W shots.

The perspective distortion of the 10mm focal length is really nice here. Your composition pulls together the elements in a such a way so as to move the viewers eyes through the frame. Well done Tim. Happy Holidays to you and Mary!

Really good work Tim. Besides the bright strut, I like how you kept some detail in the light. Great work with the BW conversion too.

Very cool job Tim. the wide angle with the graphical elements makes for great scene.

Well seen, Bill - it was impossible to hold detail in the light with an exposure that would capture detail in the foreground and clouds. The light detail is from a second exposure. It just looked a little better with some detail.

I can only echo what others have said. Really top-notch work in every respect.
