Jumping on the Bridge/Holiday Theme

I thought I'd jump in with another winter bridge pic and wish the good folks here a happy holiday season and perfect exposures in the new year. This was shot on the morning of January 01, 2008. The new year in mid Michigan was greeted with a foot of new snow and I started my year off right by going out and playing in the snow (with my camera, of course).

Even though I'm very new to this forum, I've felt very welcome here from the start. Thanks to all here for the helpful comments and constructive critiques. I learn from your images, the comments you offer of my photos, and the commentary on the photos of others. This is the best investment I've made this year in terms of my ongoing photographic education.

And I also like the idea of going out on new years morning. I am already planning mine and dragging a few buddies to bring their cameras too.

Nice one, Brian. I really like the snowy foreground with the bridge behind it. If this weather keeps up, everyone should be able to get lots of winter images (bridges too)!

Attracitive scene, and well captured. I wish the bridge pylon didn't intersect with the large branch so much, but that's minor. This would work well in black and white too.
