Firstly my apologies for the lack of activity here of late, and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Although not technically perfect, I felt I had to post this little female house sparrow. She brings to mind the white one posted a while back, and makes me wonder if I shall have white ones in my garden eventually? Will be interesting to find out, in time.
Happy New Year to you all.

Hi Fran
All thebest to you too.
We had a box that produced a couple of clutches of Sparoows with a lot of white on. Out of the lot there is only one left around the farm.
They are usuallythe first to be predated.
Cheers

I've seen Blackbirds with some white feathers and also Carrion Crows but I don't recall ever seeing sparrows with white patches. A nice shot with good eye contact.

John, I know in my heart that you are right sadly, and that this little girl probably won't be around for too long.
Best wishes to you all.
