Hi
I know this is not "the greatest image of Waxwings" But I simply adhore these birds. This year has to be one of the best, in many years, for Waxwings. They seem to be every where, I was well "chuffed to get is exposure"

Hi Dave,
It's one more Waxwing shot than I have and the exposure looks spot on.
Dave, I really like this, a very unusual shot. For me tho, there some I would have cloned out.

I have yet to see a lone waxwing let alone capture all this lot. A rare sight to see and well taken.

I haven't seen one yet.
Nice flying picture.

Never seen one myself and we don't usually see shots of them in flight so this is a bonus. Eric

Hi Dave,
I'm also in the ranks of "the never seen let alone photographed" so well done and thanks for sharing this. I agree that a different crop with a little cloning out might yield an even better result. Cliff

I've photographed them once but would love the chance to do so again. This is very nice and very different to the usual berry eating Waxwing shots that we normally see. I'd be tempted to clone out the bird that is only half showing at the bottom of the frame and possibly the one to the right with its wings clipped.

I like this - a different take - but agree with Matt about cloning out the part-birds
