A recent shot at Zion National Park a few days ago after a recent snowfall. It was my first time to Zion in the winter and is definitely recommended.

Wow - dramatic light, dramatic composition. The warm red rocks really offset the cooler sky / clouds / snow very nicely. On my monitor, it looks like the compression is killing the details in the rocks and trees. I'd love to see a big file of this!

Awesome scene! I definintely want to get back there for a snowstorm like this.
Did you have the opportunity to get a sunrise at the Towers of the Virgin. Under these conditions that would be a memorable sight.

You caught some beautiful conditions with the fresh snow and the diffused sunlight.

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, couldn't make it for sunrise as it was a short trip from Vegas and back on the same day. It was mostly cloudy while I was there with little snippets of sky where the light could enter and hit some of the red rocks.

I love the contrast of the snow with the red rock. This is really nice.

Unfortunately, I can only post like one photo every couple of days.
