small nit i think a different f stop so the back end of the bird was more in focus but nothing to worry about thats just me.

Love this one Andy. Excellent detail and catchlight, wish I had more success with these.

Andrew
The bird is absolutely spot on, but I am starting to worry a bit about mossy perches. I know I,ve done it myself. It seem ok with birds that feed low down or nest there like Coal Tits or Wrens, for example, but somehow I don't think it fits with Nuttys. I reckon a nice knotty stump is more in keeping.
Thats only my personal opinion. Still a great shot.
Cheers
John

Hi Andrew,
Fantastic shot! I might crop a little from the bottom, but thats just personal preference.

Thanks for the comments guys :toast:

Hi John, I'll be out at first light in search of a nice knotty stump  While were talking stumps, I'm having no luck in attracting GSW's to my feeding site and after viewing your recent shots, do GSW's prefer Silver Birch ?

Lovely shot again Andy, far better than any I managed today of these guys (they didn't want to stray from the birdtable!)
