Stripping machine...
Well, they do devour berries from Rowan and Cotoneaster at an alarming rate!
Taken over the weekend at the same spot as Tony's.

D200
Sigma 120-400mm OS HSM
ISO400
Lightroom and PS3

Thanks for looking, and a happy new year to all.

You were up against it with the harsh light on this one Ian. A bit more space to the left would improve it to my eye.
Happy new year to you too.

Aren't these gorgeous? Very difficult lighting here has caused the shadows, but a great experience I'm sure.

I like the OOF bird in the background that tells us about how they move as a group stripping bushes and trees bare of berries. Agree a little more space on the left would help

Is this a particularly good year for them or something? I think I would prefer some more room on the left and the shadow is a bit distracting, but you can't change the light and I've never seen one, so I have to admit that my C&C has a jelaousy element.
