Took this shot through the window of Vistor's Center at Crystal Cove State Beach. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Andre,
Not quite sure I understand the intent of this image. Personally, I don't see much originality in taking a picture of someone else's artwork. I'm guessing, but is the middle frame a window? And you're actually taking a picture of the view seen thru the window? If you can elaborate, that might help.

Interesting use of that window view. I like the way the soft colors and light give it a painterly look. I might favor a little perspective control to square things up a bit and eliminate the ceiling and floor in the upper and lower right corners. I wonder why the Vistor Center doesn't color the window frame the same as the paintings to enhance the illusion? Nicely seen and captured.

Sorry I didn't explain it better. Yes, the middle frame is actually a window. From where I stood, I saw the beach scene right through the window glass, and I like the way it's framed in that window, so I framed what I saw and took that image. The only trouble is the light, I tried -1 stop flash towards back to get more even light. I particularly like this image that has the window image sharp and the other frames a little blurred, forcing me to look at the window image.
I'm not sure why they didn't paint the window frame like the others. I guess when they painted the room, they just painted everything the same color. They have various exhibits at various time. The paintings are just exhibit for this period, and it works well with the window.
Good question about eliminating the ceiling and floor. I should do that.
BTW, this image is in my OCNature website as an example of "Composition - Framing".
Andre, this was not too bad an idea. After reading all the input I can see what you were trying to convey here. As outlined already there are some technical adjustments that could make this even better overall. It looks as though the wall is curved and as such moving ever so slightly to the right would have possibly given the same shadow and lighting to both the outer frames as well as centering this just a bit. I would just make a slight crop from the top down to eliminate the object in the URHC. Otherwise an interesting perspective on a not so obvious scene.

Your light painting looks better than their hand paintings.
