Just come back after the Christmas break so haven't seen the first post but this is excellent. The owl really 'pops' in the picture and the foreground grasses give it some depth. Is that a road in the distance or a stream? It would have been nicer without it but even allowing for that I still think this is a cracker.

Just beautiful. The FG grass gives this photograph feeling, and as far as the road, I imagined it to be a stream and still do. Great job. Were you just out walking when you captured this? What time of day was it?
I was out driving and came across these owls back in August and they are still there yet but they have'nt been as close as this again. This picture was taken at about half 10 in the morning, my first SEO pics.

Hi Cameron - I can see you've been working on this and it looks great. If anything, perhaps a little too much colour saturation, but that's a matter of taste and might look different on another monitor.

The SEO looks a bit indignant! Liked this shot the first time and this version really jumps out

As said above, lovely image and well captured. A bird I have yet to have the pleasure of seeing in the wild.

I have to admit that I find the road a distraction Cameron, but I have to say that the processing is much improved this time. It's still a lovely shot.
