Waxwing season 2
Another shot from the Folkestone site. The berries have just about all gone and so have most of the birds, only 6 remaining today.

Hi Tony,
I love this beautiful design of the yellow and black pattern on the wings.
I never have seen one of them, but it must be great to watch them fly.
Greetings,
Bertl

Lovely close-up but a bit large in the frame. The 1.4 convertor would have been a better bet but you never have time to change with these. Cheers, Mark

Very nice. You must have got really close! I agree a little tight but lovely detail and colour.

Lovely to see the colours and patterns in the wing and tail feathers perfectly positioned

great detail and pose, would prefer it slightly smaller in the frame. I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't seen one this winter

A very beautiful pose of the Male Waxwing. Detail in thse birds are hard to capture for me. The berries are truly an asset.

A touch big in the frame for me (and it don't look like a SEO) . Certainly shows the delightful plumage of these birds & good to meet up down there the other day.... Car has ended up broke and repair looks like it is going to be costly.... :frown:

It might be a touch tight in the frame at a larger size, but at these dimensions, I like them big so that the detail is easier to appreciate so I like it as it is here. Excellent shot.
