Misty Blue
Trying to get a non standard Multnomah Falls shot in this wonderful weather we had. I decided to concentrate less on the falls, and more on the only real color in our almost pure white wonderland.

Hope your all having a wonderful holiday season.

Pretty cool, Roman.. I've liked this since I've seen it on the Miranda site..

I was browsing old stuff and realized I missed this one Roman, it's very nice. What I like the most is that it is hard to tell it is Multanomah, it's not an easy to get such a non-traditional view. The mood is nice, and the blue color adds an interesting touch. I do wish the waterfall was just a little less obscured, but that's a nit.

Thanks John! Appreciate the feedback. Was kinda limited as there was only about a 2.5 o 3 foot wide walkway that was shoveled....and didnt have the snow shoes with me (wonder if the tripod would have sunk?!?) But I do see exactly what your saying.

One question...if we saw more of the falls, would it then be more identifiable as Nultnomah?

Will have to play with that out in the field next time I am there.

I understand the purpose of including the blue color in the middle, but in my honest opinion this blue is very distracting. The image would have a great mood and unique style if it were all b/w. The trees in the fg are in very good contrast to the foggy and very intriguing background, and this contrast would define the atmoshpere of the picture.
