Fungus ID?
I walked by this bright orange fungus in a poison ivy patch above Dry Creek last May. Does anybody have any idea what this is or where I might search online for a name? Thanks!

According to this page, it looks like Laetiporus sulphureus, or chicken of the woods or sulphur shelf. Your shot is much better than the one pictured here:

Anyhow, that might be a name to slot into a google search and see what else comes up.

Although the color is really beautiful, I think I'll stick with chicken to eat. Nice find John.
