Obviously I don't live in the Midwest anymore, but I highly recommend you folks subscribe to this publication and submit images to them Lots of the work I see here in this forum is way good enough for publication.
The magazine is obviously about the areas around Chicago, but as you can see from them using one of my images they accept images from everyone as long as it fits their needs.
Check them out. Don George can put you on the "want lists" that he sends out every few months. They don't pay a lot ( who does anymore?) but they are nice folks and publish a quality product.

Congrats, Jack! Thanks for the heads up on the magazine as well. I would comment on the photo, but the image is so small I can only say it looks good as a thumbnail! Post a larger file and let us see what Chicago Wilderness already knows. Happy shooting in the new year!

I am a fan of Chicago Wilderness Magazine Jack and will check out the recent issue today while I am the bookstore. I have been trying to get up to Volo Bog for awhile now (I live downsate Illinois now but grew up in the Chicago area) but haven't had the opportunity yet. I look forward to seeing your image and reading about the bog.
